Talend: Running job causes JET timeout

If you just installed or updated your talend installation, and your job in Talend Studio fails to start because of a JET timeout, you might want to check your local directories. If a certain directory is missing, the JET timeout occurs.

Please go to our talend installation directory and check the folder

/plugins/org.talend.designer.components.localprovider_{your-talend-id}/components.

Please add the folder "user" if it is missing and restart your talend studio. The job should now start without problems.

If you like this post it would be very nice, if you could click on some of the google ads you see on the right side. It helps me run this block and motivates me ;)
